Peter Frampton's "Camel" shows the musician's evolution as a songwriter and guitarist. The album bears the name of his touring band and includes the big hits "Lines On My Face," "Don't Fade Away" and a fantastic cover of Stevie Wonder's "I Believe (When I Fall In Love With You It Will Be Forever)." "Camel" also features one of the fan favorites, the classic rock anthem "Do You Feel Like We Do," which has been a highlight of Frampton's legendary live performances for decades.

Shane Buettner of Intervention Records worked for months with Universal's archival team, scouring archives in the U.S. and U.K. for the best-sounding tapes. Several tape sets, including tape copies from the 1970s, were sent for mastering and evaluated by Buettner and mastering pro Chris Bellman.

The best tapes are 1/2″ security copies from the 1990s A&M security program. They sound sensational, dynamic, detailed and vibrant.
