FiiO PL50
The FiiO PL50 is a high performance linear power supply designed to improve sound quality. Compared to switching power supplies, the PL50 offers a lower noise floor, refined dynamics and transients, and a more accurate, warmer tone at lower frequencies. The linear power supply has a fixed low-frequency noise that can be filtered out better and more accurately than the higher-frequency noise of switching power supplies.
The PL50 is equipped with a custom audiophile grade 50VA toroidal transformer, providing higher efficiency, more stable voltage and higher energy output. The design uses high quality parts such as Shindengen bridge rectifier, Fluorescent voltage regulator and Nippon Chemi-Con and Rubycon capacitors for better performance and reliability.
The PL50's complex circuit design includes EMI filtering, transformer rectification, voltage regulation sampling, and multi-stage filtering to ensure reliable operation. With the dual voltage outputs of 12V and 15V, the PL50 can meet the different voltage requirements of FiiO devices.
The PL50 has a metal construction with an aluminum-magnesium alloy, which not only gives the device a refined texture, but also effectively shields it from external noise and interference.
The power supply is certified according to strict safety standards and has obtained various international safety certificates, guaranteeing reliability.
